The Skills for Youth Employment (SkYE) programme was recently launched in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This programme is operational in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Grenada and Dominica from March 2019. SkYE will deliver certified technical, vocational education and training (TVET) to over 6000 youths aged 15-30, to improve their employability in sectors where there is evident demand for skilled workers. These include established sectors such as hospitality and construction, as well as emerging labour markets. The National Qualifications Department invites suitably qualified persons with the relevant qualifications and experience to be trained as assessors and verifiers to meet the the demands of this and other programmes.
